皮尔·卡丹”是闻名世界的品牌，从领带、衬衫到化妆品 ，从家具、造船到飞机的造型设计，从时装业到饭店业.而且值得一提的是皮尔·卡丹，还是一个拥有私人银行的时装家。

　　Pierre Cardin is a world-famous brand, from ties to shirts to cosmetics, from furniture to shipbuilding to aircraft design, from the fashion industry to the restaurant industry. And we should mention that Pierre Cardin even has his own bank.

　　说到皮尔卡丹在中国的成功，我们不能不提到另外一个人，她就是皮尔·卡丹在中国的总代理，也是马克西姆餐厅的总经理宋怀桂女士。1980年宋女士最早与皮尔·卡丹相识在巴黎的一个艺术展上，从此两个人开始了长达二十几年的合作，宋女士在皮尔·卡丹品牌在中国的推广上作出了很多努力. 但是非常遗憾的是，就在今年3月底皮尔·卡丹的06/07秋冬时装发布会前夕，宋女士却猝然离开了我们，这让卡丹先生深感痛心,这位八十三岁高龄的高人，亲自主持了宋女士的悼念仪式.

　　In speaking of Pierre Cardin’s great success in China, we should mention a certain woman named Song Huaigui, the general agent for Pierre Cardin in China, and the manager of Maxim’s restaurant.

　　Miss Song met Pierre Cardin at an art exhibition in Paris in 1980, and this was the beginning of a 20-year cooperation. Miss Song has done a great deal for the development of the Pierre Cardin brand in China.

　　But sadly, Miss Song passed away just before the new fashion show for autumn and winter, 2006/07. Her passing was a sad event for Cardin, and the 83-year-old hosted Miss Song’s memorial service himself.

　　在采访皮尔·卡丹先生时最深的感触是这位老人饱满的精力，他虽然已经年逾八十，但是他对自己公司的业务事必躬亲。除了时装，餐饮，他还经营几家剧院。这也是他早年为电影和剧院做服装设计时产生的兴趣，他用自己的勤奋和执著一点点地实现着自己的各种梦想。而对于中国人民来说，他是我们的老朋友，二十多年来，他以他独特的热情和充沛的精力在欧亚大陆之间架起了友谊的桥梁。让我们记住卡丹这个奋斗不息的老人，也希望他的品牌给我们的生活带来更多美的变化。

　　In our interview, we saw that he is full of energy. Though he is more than 80, he still manages the details of the company business himself.

　　In addition to his fashion and restaurant businesses, he also manages several theaters. This comes from an interest he developed quite young, when he designed fashions for the theater and film. Through hard work and diligence, he realized all of his dreams.

　　Zhu: And to the Chinese people, he is an old friend. Throughout 20 years, he has built a bridge of friendship between Europe and Asia with his unique enthusiasm and vitality. We will always remember the tireless Pierre Cardin, and we hope his brand will bring even more beauty and style to our lives.
